I moved to the US from USSR many years ago. And I’ve gotten used to periodically seeing Russians portrayed as bad guys in movies (looking at you Air Force One), but I agree with you that lately it has gone into overdrive, on all mediums, not just movies. It’s unfortunate, especially since the country has such rich amazing history, culture, and people. My most recent visit was in 2017, and I remember people, friends, here in US, wondering how would it go? Will I be ok? *sigh*
