Love everything about this article! I have lived in US since 1991, moving here from USSR. And to this day I still get defensive about some stereotypes. My most recent visit back there was in 2017, with my four year old daughter, my American brother in law, and people here were freaked out…aren’t you worried?
And also, spot on observation on Putin. The 90s brought Russia down to it’s knees, from the USSR world-domination days. And he stopped the bleeding. As much as I am not a fan of his these days, people there remember it.
